Rig Pig is built to work without an account. Your checks, photos, and evidence records live on your own device. Nothing is sold to anyone, and there are no ad trackers in the app. The only times information leaves your device are the ones described below — photo analysis, fleet check-ins if you join a fleet, and payment processing if you subscribe to Pro.
Rig Pig stores the following in your browser's local storage, on your device only:

When you tap Analyze on a DOT check, the photo (or the text description you wrote) is sent over an encrypted connection to Rig Pig's analysis service, which uses Cloudflare Workers AI to generate the findings shown to you. If you have pasted your own Anthropic API key in Settings, analysis can run through Anthropic's API instead.
The analysis service processes the photo to produce your result and does not store it. Your evidence record — photo, description, and findings — is saved on your device, in your Evidence Locker, under your control.
When you take a photo with the camera inside a DOT check, and your device grants location permission, the GPS coordinates are attached to that check's evidence record on your device. This exists so an evidence record shows where the inspection happened, which matters if you ever challenge a citation. Photos you upload from your library do not get location added by the app. Rig Pig does not track your location in the background, and location is never collected outside a check you start.
If you join a fleet by entering a fleet code in Settings, each completed DOT check sends your driver name, the time of the check, and the number of findings to that fleet's dashboard, where the fleet owner can see whether checks were done. Only join a fleet whose owner you trust — joining is always your choice, and you can leave a fleet in Settings at any time.
Rig Pig Pro subscriptions ($6.99/month or $59/year) are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, Stripe collects and handles your payment details under Stripe's own privacy policy. Rig Pig never sees or stores your card number.
Rig Pig is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As with any website, Cloudflare processes standard request data — such as your IP address and browser type — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Rig Pig is a study and inspection aid for commercial drivers and CDL students. It is not directed at children under 13.
